Dr Timothy Ward  BA, MA, PhD

Dr Ward is an experienced educator, researcher and music professional, with an extensive teaching career at University level.

At ACG-Deree in Athens, Timothy (Tim) teaches and assesses undergraduates across the music curriculum, including a specialist Research and Writing course, and is involved in writing courses across the college. He has an extensive teaching career, having taught in a number of universities in the UK and state universities in Greece. Tim also maintains an ongoing visiting tutor role in the summer school programmes of Goldmiths College, University of London.

Tim’s PhD was focused around electroacoustic composition, and since then he has maintained an active research interest in this field. He is a seasoned musical performer, and has helped organise numerous performance projects for the stage.  He is also active in computer music programming.
